GREEN GROWTH PROGRAM

The Green Growth Program Indonesia, an ambitious partnership between the Government of Indonesia and the Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI), operating through the Ministry of National Development Planning (Bappenas). Our unique collaboration involves numerous national and subnational governments, all working together to create a sustainable, prosperous future.

As a founding member of GGGI, Indonesia has been a staunch advocate for the belief that economic growth and environmental sustainability are not just compatible goals, but their integration is critical for humanity's progress. Established in 2012, our program has been dedicated to devising innovative strategies and approaches for green growth.

Our journey thus far has been divided into three phases, generously supported by the Kingdom of Norway, the Kingdom of Denmark, the Green Climate Fund (GCF), the NDC Partnership, and the New Zealand Aid Programme: Phase I (2013-2015) , Phase II (2016-2019) , Phase III (2021-2025)

The Country Planning Framework 2021-2025 serves as the cornerstone of our Green Growth Program, offering strategic guidance to direct our activities and maximize the positive impact on Indonesia's developmental objectives. Together, we strive to create a brighter, greener future for generations to come.
